The first reason I'm going to lie down, refuse to move, and wait to be arrested outside the White House today is my belief that massive civil disobedience is needed if we are going to end the war and forestall the next war. The power of nonviolent sacrifice has been tried and tested.

The scandal has drawn public condemnation and fulmination from many countries. Especially, the scandal exposure happened during the month of Islamic fast or Ramadan. There come strong resentment and indignation from various Islamic countries...It is not strange that the US military authorities has repeated its order that it is not allowed to have unauthorized use of camera and cinematography to reveal army doings.

Neither ethics, morality, honor, the environment, nor human life itself will be spared by this system and its quest to put profits before people (and everything else).

A free press depends partially on journalists’ ability to be protected from government or corporate coercion against revealing confidential sources of information. Obviously, if a whistleblower’s identity is made public, that person can be targeted. Protecting confidentiality allows the press access to information that might be kept from the public to its great harm.
