Mr Renton condemned what he called US president George W. Bush's 'tour of the Baltic and Caucasian states to belittle the Soviet Union's achievements', pointing out that it was the United States and Britain who had killed millions of people in colonial wars since 1945.

'The results of the General Election demonstrate the need for Blair to go now and for the labour movement to take back control of the Labour Party', Mr Renton insisted.
