United Nations, Aug 24 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela has urged the United Nations to review resolutions and regulations of international law dealing with incitement to commit state terrorism, following calls by US Reverend Pat Robertson to kill President Hugo Chavez.

The US Evangelist preacher, a former presidential candidate, made the call to kill President Hugo Chavez during a Monday evening TV presentation.
The provocation occurred on the eve of the Sixtieth UN General Assembly to be attended by 191 heads of states, in which topics of great significance for humanity will be discussed,including the eradication of poverty, the development of the countries of the South and UN Reform.
Venezuelan authorities consider that Robertson is a spokesman of a US political sector which collects the dregs of a society degraded by violence, ignorance and a fascist homicide fundamentalism.
They also say that if Mr Robertson is not a US government official, there should be a review of international agreements signed and ratified by the US as soon as possible.
There should also be a revision of other resolutions of international law that relate to incitement to commit state terrorism, such as that by Reverend Robertson.
That way, the obligations of the US government will be crystal clear, even when the incitements are committed by a private individual.
President Chávez should travel to New York in September to attend the Heads of States Summit to be held at the UN headquarters from September 14 to 16.
