SACRAMENTO, CA - 12JUNE07 - Filmmaker Michael Moore came to the California state capitol in Sacramento to show a sneak preview of his film Sicko, and advocate for single payer health care reform. Sicko dramatizes the rapacious way health insurance companies deny care to working Americans, and contrasts this to the national healthcare systems in Canada, Britain, France and Cuba. Moore was invited to Sacramento by the California Nurses Association, which has been campaigning for single payer for years. State Senator Sheila Kuehl has sponsored the single-payer bill in California.
