Caracas, Nov 20 (Prensa Latina) Political groups in favor of the constitutional reform joined forces to boost the campaign for the YES vote in the coming referendum on the proposal of president Hugo Chavez.

Representatives of the Patria Para Todos (PPT) and Comunista de Venezuela (PCV) parties agreed to join forces to intensify actions in support of the initiative for changes to the Constitution.

Simon Calzadilla, member of the PPT secretariat told the press that the step taken is a form of tactical alliance in the national scene.

The leader assured that actions were agreed upon with the PCV for a house-to-house task to promote the YES option to the modification of 69 articles and 15 transitional dispositions to the Constitution.

Also, the organization joins activities called by the Comando de Campaña in favor of the reform that unites tasks guided by the party and that complements efforts in support of the proposal of the president.
