Comrades, The Information Age brought us the internet; Information is freely available from MANY sources now and the information monopoly has crumbled. Out of this: the Cold War has become the Idea War. My point is merely that you can shoot the messenger, but you can't kill the message! We must teach people that Capitalism(a Socio-Economic system) and Democracy(a Political system) are apples and oranges; You can have one independent of the other. Only then can they make a choice.
