As an America, I am very proud of the social advances
President Chavez has made in his nation. Finally, the people of Venezuela have a chance to enjoy true properity! Venezuela has grown tired of poverty, and having its resources controlled by a few. Quality medical care, affordable food, and affordable land should be a right for all....not just for the rich. South America will NEVER enjoy full prosperity until visionaries like Hugo Chavez are elected.
John and Betty Beeching.
'As a veteran of World War Two, John Beeching is alarmed at the similarities in our world of today and those of the period 1933 - 1939 in Germany where business interests planned for a world take over i.e. hegemony. There are many similarities in their treatment of the working class modified to suit the 21st century and the objective conditions. The divisions in the working class organizations only serve their enemies instead we need to build a road unity to fight back.'--JB

I feel like I'm taking a chance here, because I actually fear my government now, as they spy on the internet, and I am probably on a list that they have for being an activist for truth. I have to say though, that even though I am afraid of them, that I endorse what Hugo Chavez is doing for the people of Venezuela. I don't believe all of the U.S. propaganda about President Chavez. It has been many years since I visited, and I loved it when I was there. I am seriously wanting to move to Venezuela, and I want to do it before my government doesn't allow it. Just as they did with Cuba. I would like to help the women of the co-ops to sell their goods, if I could. I wonder, if my government stops the people from the U.S. from going to Venezuela, if Venezuela would take us as refugees. Bravo for helping the people of Venezuela. And I'd like to say that I do make it a point to buy Citgo gas. It's the only gas I buy. God Bless all those that work for TRUE democracy. And God Bless those that speak the TRUTH! I believe that Hugo Chavez spoke the truth at the UN meeting, and we need more people with courage to do that.
Thank you.

'The Chavez government is probably the most inspiring thing in the world right now – an attempt to undo the rule of a corrupt oligarchy, to improve the lot of the majority of Venezuelans, and to resist US power internationally. It deserves the support of people from around the world – and we Americans have a special duty to urge our government to leave the country in peace.'--DH

I think Mr. Chavez is a good leader for the people of Venezuela. Mr. Chavez denounces the intrusives Powers of the U.S., as an informed citizen I know of the dirty tricks the U.S. goverment has played in Latin America just read the book' Confessions of an economic hit man'. We need someone like Mr. Chavez in our country to stand up for the non-wealthy unconnected voiceless American people that the Bush administration has Left behind. What this country needs is a good old fashion revolution!!!

I am a total Chavez and Castro supporter. Hugo is what all countries all over the world need as a leader that does not support U.S world legislation. I salute a country who dares to stand up to Bush's undermined stupidity.

CHE VIVE!! Today (9/20/06) Hugo Chavez stood before the world's leaders and told them Bush was the devil. I've been calling the pResident Satan for years. I agree more with Chavez every day. Viva Chavez!

I support Hugo Chávez and the Venezuelan people. I’m a Vietnam-era vet but deeply ashamed of what our country is doing to the world.

I support political self-determination for an independent Venezuela, free from U.S. military conquest, intimidation, covert operations, and assassination attempts. I strongly oppose the U.S. military-industrial complex and its proponents in both the Democratic and Republican Parties and in the corporate mass media. American imperialism is the greatest threat to liberty and justice throughout the world today.

I support the 1998 elections, were the poor and disenfranchised of Venezuela elected Hugo Chavez by a landslide as their president. I oppose US intervention in Venezuela. American imperialism must stop, it is about power, money and natural resources. As if the world was here to only benefit America. We must stop taking economic advantage of all counties around the world. Do you wonder why terorist attack us?

I fully endorse the goals of the Venezuela solidarity campaign. Hugo Chavez has heroically stood up to U.S. imperialism and the Bolivarian movement is demonstrating to the world that there are alternatives to the U.S. model of Colonialist consumer capitalism and its hegemony.
