GAZA, Palestine, October 2,2005 (IPC+ Agencies)--Arab Labor Organization in Cairo reported that the Israeli practices during the last three years caused the Palestinian economy loses assessed at $14 billion.
The Organization, which started its meeting yesterday, listed in a memorandum set forth to the board, the Israeli violations as follows: the IOF fully demolished 4100 Palestinian houses and 50,000 others partially, destroyed 430 factories and workshops, killed 2735 and injured more than37,000 residents, in addition to the frequent siege and closure, not to mention the havoc wrecked the infrastructure, uprooting the trees.
The three- day assembly discusses the devastating impacts of the Israeli occupation practices on the economic and social situations in the Palestinian lands and the suggested alternatives to the governmental membership of the Arab states in northern Africa in the administration council of the organization of the international labor office, in addition to going on to implement the last decisions taken by the Organization and future plans besides a set of financial and administrative issues.
The council of the organization consists of labor's ministers in Libya, Qatar, Mauritania and representatives of other governments and Arab labors organizations.
