To: The President of India

Condemn the State Brutality on the Peaceful Protests. 8 killed in police firing and 8 more injured badly. Situation of 3 more people is critical.

Police opened fire on the peaceful protests taken up the Left parties in Mudigonda in Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh. The left parties have taken a peaceful path and lead the struggles for lands for the poor and the needy of the society. This 87 day old struggle is intensifying with the growing participation of the people from all sections of the society.

Mudigonda is a small village in Khammam district, cutoff from all national highways and state highways. Poor people in large number have come forward and were staging a peaceful rasta roko. The police resorted to brutal Lathi Charge which was unnecessary, considering both the geographical location and also the peaceful way in which the protest was being made. The police further continued to the extent of firing at the innocent people which lead to the killing of 8 people. The situation of 3 people is still critical and in total 16 received serious bullet injuries.

We request all the peace loving people on the globe to come forward and sign the petition and condemn this police brutality.

Long Live the Peoples Movements Long Live the Peoples Solidarity Movement

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
