Teheran, Jul 20 (Prensa Latina) Iran's top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili stressed on Sunday the solution to the dispute with the West calls for an action plan suitable for the two parties, without affecting his country's sovereignty.

Jalili, who led the Iranian delegation to the 6-way talks Saturday in Geneva, pointed out that both Teheran and the European Union presented an action plan.

The two initiatives have similarities and differences, and during the coming round of talks, the parties must have reached certain consensus allowing to go on with the negotiations, the diplomat indicated.

“It is necessary to create an atmosphere in which any decision can be understood,” Jalili stated, and added the attendance of a US representative for the first time was positive, and could help overcome differences.

Iran's defense of its right to develop nuclear technology and enrich uranium with peaceful goals has resulted in three packages of sanctions by the UN and other unilateral bans by the EU and Washington.
